Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Business Operations Specialist acts as a company liaison and ensures various tasks are performed timely and in compliance with policy and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Receive, verify and reconcile various documentations and process company disbursements
Coordinate with employees, managers and/or vendors on documentation issues
Ensure compliance with internal controls over processes, and ensure compliance with corporate and department policies and procedures
Administrative duties related to above including filing and scanning
Review timesheets for accuracy
Update Time Collection when required
Update Costpoint records with some personnel changes
Process Expense Reports
Manage Travel Activity
Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None, this position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word and Excel
Data entry skills and general math skills required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail

Job Requirements
Business Operations Specialist I

BA/BS Degree or currently enrolled or High School Diploma or Equivalent with at least 1 year of task related experience.

Business Operations Specialist II

BA/BS Degree or commensurate experience and 5 years of task related experience

Business Operations Specialist III

BA/BS Degree or commensurate experience and 10 years of task related experience

Deltek Time and Expense experience required Deltek Costpoint experience required

May require to have budget tracking and employee expense tracking experience
May require to have JTR knowledge
Must be able to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance
