Electrical Technician – UAS

Position Description

Dynetics is seeking a talented Technician for UAS programs to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, costeffective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Position involves integration, assembly, and check-out of flight systems where attention to detail is essential for mission success. Systems may be prototypical in nature, with minimal documentation, requiring superior critical thinking and trouble-shooting skills, the ability to intepret and apply electrical and mechanical drawings, excellent communication skills, knowledge of aerospace practices in electrical and mechanical assemblies, sensitivity to physical risk, disciplined adherence to safety practices, and a high commitment to quality workmanship.


Basic Qualifications

The candidate must have HS diploma with at least 5 years of relevant technical experience.

This position requires demonstrated experience with hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of electrical harnesses/equipment.

Other Qualifications

Training and experience with handling energetics / stored energy devices is preferred.

Past experience with both unmanned and manned aviation is a plus, as is participation in technical inspections and/or development of formal work instructions.

Experience with unmanned aircraft, manned aircraft, and/or missile systems is beneficial.

Military training and/or civilian certifications are a plus.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
