The Department of Biological and Environment Science at Troy University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in anatomy and physiology. We seek outstanding, highly motivated candidates who demonstrate teaching excellence, research, and are committed to the development of our students through engaged interaction.

General Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will develop and teach lecture and laboratory courses in Human Anatomy and Physiology, as well as upper level elective and/ or masters-level courses and seminars within their specific research field or discipline. The candidate will be expected to develop an independent research program, to include undergraduate and graduate students. Other job duties will include participating in all aspects of the daily operation of the Department and maintaining current knowledge in the profession. Ability to teach advanced courses such as Histology and Immunology is desirable but not required.

  1. Minimum Qualifications

1. PhD or other terminal degree in biological sciences or a closely related field.
2. Experience teaching college-level anatomy and physiology.
