Job Description


+ Analyze existing systems and processes for improvements.

+ Be a problem solver and assist in determining the cause behind the issues/ problems in various systems and offer solution or suggestions.

+ Assist in creating programming framework by defining requirements and coding.

+ Program interfaces between systems

+ Create statistical reports to check success of project implementations

Principal coordinator of new application implementations

+ Principal collaborator with third party vendors, interface engineers

+ Assist in the creation of the implementation master plan

+ Communicate and interface with internal resources for programming and support

+ Monitor completion of benchmarked goals

+ Communicate with senior department management staff progress and barriers related to successful completion of application implementations

+ Assist in the development of new documentation to support implementation

New Application training

+ Establish and coordinate training for end users and system consumers

+ Establish schedules and designate facility areas for training to occur

+ Establish follow-up procedures for training and project understanding

Project development

+ Develop the project scope

+ Develop internal project benchmarks related to the development, testing, and training.

+ Manage the project schedule

+ Participate in the analysis, development, and testing for project applications

+ Document findings, results, and modifications of project processes

Other IT duties as deemed necessary should include but not be limited to the following

+ Assist in system(s) evaluations with other IT staff

+ Participate in IT team meetings and initiatives

+ Participate in the strategic planning process for IT

+ Participate on and chair committees deemed necessary to support standards and accreditations

+ Assist in providing training when deemed necessary

+ Participate in Orientation Training for IT

+ Provide application training when deemed necessary

+ Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

At least three years employment as a professional software developer

Microsoft Visual Studio .NET with emphasis in C#

Working with software configuration tools such as Team Foundation Services

Basic web-development skills using HTML, CSS, and javaScript

Developing web applications using architectures\frameworks such as MVC/Bootstrap/JQuery

Reporting in Crystal Reports and SSRS

SSIS and other ETL processes

Knowledge of Business Intelligence modeling, such as cubes and tabular, a plus

Working familiarity with SQL Server 2016 or greater

3+ years of experience working with application planning, development, installation, and training

Experience in Object Orientated design and programming, workflow and software design patterns, and full, life-cycle management of the project from perspective of analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation

Must have strong Interpersonal and communication skills

Technical writing skills are required
