In your role as a Mechanical Engineering Technician, you will directly support a variety of Department of Defense weapon systems programs. This support will aid our soldiers with the highest and most technically advanced tools to support our country.
What you’ll do all day:
Work as part of a team of engineers and technicians.
Installation and removal of turbine engines, dynamometers, and associated test equipment for turbine engine test cell operations in a R&D environment
Repair and maintenance, in accordance with diagrams, electrical schematics, technical manuals, depot level manuals and manufacturer’s specifications of machinery, mechanical equipment, and turbine engines (T700 and T55).
Support multiple projects in parallel in an environment that changes quickly with response to customer needs.

Minimum requirements for this position:
High School Diploma or GED
Three to five (3-5) years of applicable experience supporting engineering or military testing –OR– Two to four (2-4) years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and 3 years of applicable experience is required.
Ability to perform mechanical operation on turbine engines in accordance with military publications.
Experience with dynamometers and test instrumentation using hand tools, power tools, precision measurement, and testing instruments.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be a US Citizen.
Willing to travel and work limited overtime.
Desired skills and experience for this position:
LPAR (Liquid Propellant Action Response) trained or willing to be trained.
