Job Description

Quality Engineer- Enterprise, AL



+ Ensures compliance with the customer requirements, quality policy, company standards, regulatory and external standards \t

+ Supervise inspectors, technicians, and other staff & provide guidance and feedback\t

+ Lead problem solving activities for quality issues \t

+ Keep up on standards, regulations/laws, and issues related to the quality process\t

+ Conduct root cause analysis for customer quality concerns and internal concerns\t

+ Request corrective action or action plan to related department or plants for quality issue\t

+ Communicate directly with customers to support quality requirements \t

+ Oversee incoming/outcoming material and product, as needed \t

+ Responsible for making sure quality machines are inspected and working properly\t

+ Support and follow up on any tasks related with global quality issues \t

+ Evaluate new production processes and new products to ensure quality integrity\t

+ Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards \t

+ Escalate quality issues to regional quality lead, when necessary \t

+ Submit detailed reports to leadership, as required



+ Bachelor Degree – Business, Engineering, or Administrative related field\t

+ 3-7 years of quality experience; preferably in the automotive industry\t

+ Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\t

+ Minimum 2 years supervising a team\t

+ Must be able to lift items (min.10lbs.) or stand for long periods of time (40% of time)
