Job Description

SCHNELLECKE PACKING LOGISTICS AL is seeking applicants for a Operational Controller
at their facility in WOODSTOCK, ALABAMA. The Schnellecke Group is an internationally
operating family-owned company that offers a variety of logistics services. One of the
major focuses of these activities is value-added logistics for the automotive industry. In the
automotive industry today they are one of the globally leading logistics service providers.

Salary: $45,000 – $50,000 year….Based on Experience

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Operational Controller is a strong position that supports our daily operations within the
warehouse. This person performs duties to ensure successful implementation of quality-controlled
operations and a successful quality flow.
• Monitors inbound and outbound supply and management of all order processing, including
expedited shipments via train, truck ocean, and air to all international destinations.
• Analyze, strategize, detail, coordinate, and execute yearly and quarterly demand planning from
the customer for all business aspects (packing and parts).
• Avoidance of packaging backlogs and airfreight at the expense of Schnellecke Packing Logistics.
• Check and process incoming customer requests.
• Creation and control of process optimization measures.
• Monitoring the accuracy of master data in the system.
• Management and control of backlog processing.
• Management and control of timely loading.
• Initiation of measures for bottleneck processing.
• Creation, maintenance and support of KPI management.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management in accordance with skill level.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent
work experience.
• 3 years of experience in warehouse/logistic operations and processes.
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; warehouse
management systems; and quality and safety rules.
• Knowledge in supply chain of material movement.
• Excellent communication skills: written and verbal/inter-personal skills with ability to speak to
individuals at all levels.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility: able to adapt and deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
• Dependability: consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management
direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
• Willingness to perform any required task within associates’ capabilities in order to effectively meet
the needs of the company.
• Ability to get along well with others and work as a team.
